Winter Games Grants Awarded

A total of $4000 in Winter Games Legacy grants have been awarded to amateur sports groups in the community. The recipients were:

  1. Kimberley Gymnastics for Morning Scamper Camp. Amount $400.

  2. North Star Skating Club for Summer Skating Camp. Amount $400.

  3. Kimberley Alpine Team for Prize Money from Fall Fair. Amount $500.

  4. Kimberley Speed Skating for purchasing speed skates. Amount $300.

  5. Kimberley Seahorse Swim Association for Utility Storage Trailer. Amount $500.

  6. Kimberley Indoor Sports Centre for Pickle Ball development. Amount $800.

  7. Kimberley Nordic Racers for purchasing equipment. Amount $400.

  8. Kimberley School of Archery for purchasing equipment. Amount $400.

  9. Kootenay Orienteering Club for purchasing equipment. Amount $300.
