$18,000 in grants handed out on Giving Tuesday to local community organizations

This year, Giving Tuesday fell on December 1st and the KDCF chose that day to disburse its Community Grants to local charities. The following groups received there cheques at a ceremony at Centre 64:


- Kimberley Nature Park Society for Boardwalks at Eimer's Lake - $1400

- Kimberley District Heritage Society for Schoolhouse Windows - $4800

- Sparks Youth Centre Society for Youth Resource Cards - $800

- CB Alliance for Literacy for Regional Car Seat Training - $2000

- Big Brothers Big Sisters for Kimberley In-School Program - $1000

- Rotary Club for Kimberley Splash Park - $5000



Josh presents $5000 to Sandra of the Kimberley Rotary Club for the Spray Park project.
