KDCF receives contribution from TELUS Fibre for Good Program

TELUS Senior Regional Market Manager, Carly Jellis presented Terry Oscarson and Josh Lockhart of the Kimberley & District Community Foundation with a contribution from the TELUS Fibre for Good Program this week. Mrs. Jellis, on behalf of TELUS, said she is very pleased to be recognizing the Foundation as she is impressed with the work the Foundation does in the community. “Their support of the arts, the environment, education, sports, and seniors in Kimberley and District is excellent.”

Foundation Chair, Terry Oscarson would like to thank the community members that chose the Foundation through the Fibre for Good Program. Oscarson said, “There are so many worthy charities to donate to but the advantage of donating to the Foundation is that all donations stay in and are used in the community. Our goal is to build the Foundation funds to $1,000,000 so we can fund more of the great projects that require funding assistance. We have a long way to go but are enthused when we are recognized by community members as their charity of choice.”
